Amsterdam, The Netherlands

A city built around canals, house boats and unique dutch architecture are some of the things that make Amsterdam one of a kind. For this trip I decided to have the boat house experience. It is something good to try since Amsterdam is well known for having boathouses due to their many canals. At the end of the post I shared some pictures of the dining room and the view from the boat house. Most of my pictures are of the canals and homes around the city. Another thing I loved was the entrances to homes. They were below the street level and some would have sofas or chairs outside giving it a unique touch. By last, there is something I would like to share on my Amsterdam post about food in Amsterdam. I know McDonald's would probably be the last thing you think of eating when you travel to a new place but the "McKROKET" caught my attention. You can only try this burger in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Things to do in Amsterdam: Rijksmuseum - Van Gogh Museum - Efteling - Anne Frank House - Dam Square

Food: Bitterballen - Stroopwafel - McKroket

Beer: Amstel - Heineken
