Antiparos is a perfect Island with the best highlights of Greece. Beautiful calm beaches from the Mediterranean Sea, delicious food and that unique vibe of the Greek Islands. The island is a place to get away and relax. It is less touristy than other islands and it is good for families and couples. It should be a "most do" on your trip to go to their cave. It is a little far from the downtown but it is definitely worth visiting. If you like sports, every summer there is a swimming race from Paros to Antiparos and I was told by locals that Tom Hanks goes to the race every year plus it is one of his favorite Greek Islands. Overall, the Island is cute and small with a very Scandinavian influence but it doesn't loose it's greek touch. You will see a lot of "minimalistic stores" on the downtown. By last, don't forget to have the best traditional greek food experience in their tavernas. My favorite tavernas were the "family owned" were you would see more locals and not much tourist. Let me say nothing can beat a homemade Greek meal.
